Rodney J. Harris is a Philadelphia native with a music ministry that touches the heart and soul of men and women through inspirational lyrics and motivational melodies. He have participated in a
number of collaborative projects and have exhibited his work throughout the world.
Rodney contributing vocals has been heard on numerous projects spanning the gamut of Rock, Jazz, Rhythm and Blues, Neo-soul and Gospel. His unmistakable and anointed voice has enable him to travel nationally and internationally sharing the stage with such renown and gifted artist as: Andre Crouch, Della Reese, The Hawkins Family, Men Of Standard, John P. Kee, Kirk Franklin, Piece of a Dream, The Winans, Maurette Brown Clark, Shirley Caesar, Mighty Clouds of Joy, and many more.
As a background singer for many years, He has toured with such great artist as Daryl Hall, Teddy Pendergrass, Phyllis Hyman, Micheal Bolton, Vesta, and Celine Dion, Patti Labelle, Eric Bene't, Gerald Veasley, Kim Burrell, and have done Studio and Live recording sessions with Bishop Andrew J Ford & The Anointed Voices, Bishop Jerome Stokes and the CRL Mass Choir, Professor Wilbur Belton and the LADWEC Choir, Maurette Brown Clark, Vicki Winans, Stephen Hurd, Live DVD with Teddy Pendergrass. Rodney believe in constantly taking risks and believe that inspiration can be found wherever you look.
Rodney’s music ministry has brought numerous tours, studio sessions, acting, concerts, and songwriting; however notwithstanding all this, his greatest passion is ushering in the presence of the Lord at his former home church of Ford Memorial Temple, Philadelphia, PA where he served as Praise and Worship Leader for twenty five years and faithful member to the ministry.
